Helyo is a highly potent insecticide cum acaricide. It contains Emamectin benzoate 1.9% E.C which has a broad spectrum pest control action. Helyo (Emamectin benzoate 1.9% E.C) is a macrocyclic insecticide that remains stable post aqueous hydrolysis. For some vegetables, fruits and cereals. Helyo can be used as an acaricide occasionally.
Mode of Action: Helyo contains Emamectin Benzoate which is a derivative of abamectin, produce by the fermentation of soil actinomycetes, streptomyces and avermitilis. Helyo act on nerve cells to suppress muscle contaction. The insect gets paralyzed and stop feeding within hours ingesting it, thus prevents subsequent crop damage. Helyo is a stomach action and shoud be ingested by the larvae to be most effective. Affected larvae become paralyzed and stop feeding shortly after exposer to Helyo and subsequently die after 2-4 days.
