Picthora is a fungicide specifically designed to control rice blast disease. Picthora contains Tricyclazole 75% WP which inhibits fungal growth by disrupting melanin production. This systemic and protective fungicide offers residual activity, providing long-lasting protection against rice blast.
Mode of Action: Picthora (Tricyclazole) acts by inhibiting the synthesis of melanin, a pigment necessary for fungal growth and development. By disrupting melanin production, it effectively suppresses the growth of the rice blast fungus, preventing the disease from spreading and causing damage to the rice plants.
