Tectona is a contact fungicide, which contains Myclobutanil 10% WP. It is used to control scab of apple and powdery mildew of grapes. It is a contact fungicide and an effective wettable powder formulation economically controlling important diseases like scab & powdery mildew on apple and grapes.
Mode of Action: Tectona (Myclobutanil 10% WP) works by suppressing fungus of a vital element called ergosterol that is needed for membrane function and structure. Tectona blocks the fungal enzyme from producing ergosterol which leads to the cell walls breaking down, halting further growth of the fungus and eventual death.
